Aaron Kahrod, aged 20 from Walsall Road, Aldridge, and a 17-year-old male – who cannot be named for legal reasons – will appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court this morning (Friday 14 July). Officers were called to Ladywell Walk in China Town at 3:50am on Sunday 9 July following reports of an assault. A 19-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment for a head injury. Officers on overnight patrols spotted a group of male youths at around 1am driving around the Northfield area in a VW Golf. Officers were called to Bourne Green at around 6.30pm and a 26-year-old man was taken to hospital and remains in a serious but stable condition.
