Latest news Investigation launched following assault in Aston 17/02/2017 Police have launched an investigation after a man was seriously assaulted in Aston last night (16 February). Officers were called to a Chester Road Industrial Estate at around 7.50pm last night after reports a man had been attacked. It is believed that the 20-year-old was assaulted with a baseball bat. The 15-year-old boy is due to appear at Birmingham Youth Court today (Friday 17 Feb) after being arrested by police at his home address in Small Heath yesterday (16 February).
