hi guys, im currantly at northants uni due to be attested as a special with northamptonshire police later this year. last year i came out on observation with warwickshire police in nuneaton, is it still possible to do this? any of you know anyone that could arrange this? northamptonshire are no longer doing this and i still live in warwickshire which is why im asking for warwickshire. last time found it a good expereince so if possible would be good to do another 1

Hi all! Looking at the amount of activity on here, I'm not expecting a reply! Was informed the other day that I had passed papersift stage! Got PIR test on Monday 17th. Just wondering who else has their's on that day! Chris

I know that there isnt many of us on here, but what did you do for the specials weekend. Better still - did you boycott it due to the planned changes.... I was told not to work by my supervisor as a protest.. Yikes!!

Chief Constable Keith Bristow also said front desk services would be moved from several police stations to libraries and council offices. The headquarters in Leek Wootton will be sold off. Warwickshire Police Special Constable is awarded MBE 13 June 2005 Recently retired Special Constable George Want has just been awarded the MBE in the Queen's birthday honours for services to the police.
