I have a cross force SC specific project that I need an officer for and I'd like to talk to a supervisor who is able to nominate someone suitable. I'm in a home counties force, in CID and have seen the recent recruitment campaign. For me to travel from my house to the City by train would involve a journey of about 1hr 10 minutes. Driving it's about 40 miles, although can't imagine anyone wanting to drive there! I thought VERY briefly about what it'd be like to transfer but I was concerned about travel. I know you get free travel, but... 1) Where do most city of london officers live, I'd doubt they live that near due to costs, but maybe outer London? 2) How do they get around finishing late, as in, if they're off at midnight with no car, what do they do then? 3) I live in Berkshire, so I'm wondering if I liv…

Trying to resuscitate this section of the forum What do COLP specials do on a normal shift? Do you guys get a loads of different calls? & What about domestics? And does COLP offers blue light training for all of you guys? If yes, how long after you joined?

If anyone could help it would be appreciated. Please can I be advised on who the S/Insp is within City of London Police? And if possible their contact email address. Thanks in advance.
