Mayday 407
Heya guys, i'm drawing a blank here. Having a couple of issues with my Network card. I've been having issues with it for a while now, and it's completely random when the issue occurs. The current issue is that now it's automatically turned off when the laptop starts and randomly turning it off while it's on. I've checked that the it's not on power saving mode etc and i've even tried rolling back the driver software, however no success. The local adapter will randomly have a hissy fit and i'll lose connection. In the task bar i'll have the signal symbol with a yellow triangle and exclaimation mark inside of it. A restart of the Network adapter will resolve the issue straight away. However this is completely random problem, i can go a week+ with out it happening and then all of a sudden it can happen daily. Anyone have any ideas? 37240932704982 603
Have you called the people you bought the network card from? (or call the people where you got your computer from?)
I99 383
It's not a problem with your network card, it's a problem with your router. The BT Home Hub 3 doesn't automatically broadcast on the channel where there's the least attenuation. Copy and paste the link below and manually change the WiFi channel to the one with the least overlap. http://bthomehub.home You'll need to know your hub administrator password but once you've done this you should have a stronger connection that doesn't drop. Hmm tried that a while ago - I put it to channel 11 thinking that would have the least over lap EDIT: Ah hah! It appears there are 3 other devices on channel 11 - thanks for the tip! Changing to channel 8. Edited November 12, 2013 by Mayday

From your copied diagnostic report it didn't look like your network adaptor was at fault.

5460 530
I agree mostly with the above. However, I used to have problems with a netgear USB wifi dongle when the netgear wifi software would clash with wireless zero config, and caused a lot of drops. Worth considering if you aren't just using WZC.
