Management Chief Cheetah 6,915 Posted July 4, 2015 Management Share Posted July 4, 2015 Sick and tired of cutting the grass. It's uneven and patchy, doesn't grow under the trees, has lots of weeds and lots of moss, basiclly it looks nothing like Wimbledon. I'm considering an artificial lawn and I'm wondering if anybody has any experience of them and any advice they can offer.
Rocket + 6,403
We've turned a particularly unmanageable part of our garden into a wildflower meadow, all we did is seed with wildflower seeds and leave it to get on with it.

fruitandveg + 26
Painted green? No, just turn your whole garden into a concrete pad, no problem then.
BlueBob + 700
Concrete. heathen!, concrete means you have water disposal problem. depends how much grass you have? Small paths, seating areas then a Japanese style garden..... But in a big garden that is a lot of shingle @ £30-40 a tonne.

Woody 292
Do what I did. Dog a small channel around it, put batons in using post concrete and then black liner. Stones on stop with a few decorations. Drainage still in place Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

As your Monica suggests perhaps Cheetah could turn it into a flower or veggie plot!

Morpheus 4
You can pick a cheap lawn mower up from a Rescue shelter It's called a "Goat". Might need some TLC though Edited May 7, 2016 by Morpheus
