Tango2081 0
Hi, Just wanted to double check something - if I was messaging someone from Iphone - Iphone, but I turned Imessage off, there is no way an SMS could sync with an Ipad is there? (I'm messaging someone to their phone but I know it's synced to an ipad that other people have access to and I'm not keen on others reading my messages!) Thanks for your help....! richsimpkins 0
SMS may be converted to iMessage iPhone to iPhone and if that is he case then yes that is a possibility. Are your messages green or blue?

Buck + 293
Yes, as far as I am aware Texts can't sync across devices. They certainly don't on my iPad. That said most iMessages don't anyway, only ones sent to the mutual email address, not to my mobile phone number
Administrative Account 7
That said most iMessages don't anyway, only ones sent to the mutual email address, not to my mobile phone number That's changed with the later versions of iMessage, if I get an iMessage sent to my mobile number it also appears on my iPad and Mac.

DanHollands 56
iPad sims aren't any different to any other sim. You can not sent a message from an iPad unless they have iMessage..
Burnsy2023 2,895
You can not sent a message from an iPad unless they have iMessage.. Yet, but that's got nothing to do with the SIM.
DanHollands 56
Yet, but that's got nothing to do with the SIM.My apologies... But my point was you can't send a message if iMessage is off.
