Parking Ticket

I have been parking my car in an office car park for the last 4 months, I had an evolope tucked under my wipers informing me I must pay £130 immediately or face more fines/convictions.

I'm quite worried as I'm sure you can imagine, It was issued by a "company" called Newlyn Ltd

The letter I recieved looked unofficial, like it was designed on Microsoft Paint.

Do I pay this or just ignore it? If I ignore it do I declare it in vetting? I'm so confused, I've not parked there since just in case!

:help:

That said, the advice from consumer watchdogs, is to rip it, and any subsequent letters up and throw them in the bin. They are pretty much unenforceable as they won't be able to prove a) any financial loss, and b) that it was you that parked there.

Do a Google for PCN and/or the name of the company that issued it.

You cannot get a fine or conviction as it is not a criminal matter but a civil contract matter. Though, maybe be a little more careful where you park in future :new_shades:

Phone the company and speak to your boss. Scan the letter onto here...

What was the name of the company (at the top of the PCN) that issued it Jake?

I can't remember the letter is at home, I believe it was something like Sanders Protection Secruity or something, it did have a logo of A+S in the corner though, that said, the logo was a bit wonky, and you could easily see the outline where it was just pasted onto the letter from something like MS Paint.

Edit; it was signed by someone from 'Sanders Protection Secruity' - Newlyn Ltd*
