GodAtum 0
Can anyone recommend a good HD IP wireless pan/tlit and motion tracking webcam for use as a security camera indoors? Budget of around £100 or less. Edited July 16, 2012 by GodAtum
Global Moderators MindTheGap 1,275 Posted July 16, 2012 Global Moderators Share Posted July 16, 2012 Try Axis IP Cams, not sure on their pricing but I've seen them around!

Can personally recommend the Foscam - had 5 of them running on a brilliant piece of software called IP Camera Super Client.

The Foscam F18918W can be had for as little as £66 inclusive of postage from a UK authorised seller on the world famous auctions site.
GordonH 787
Isn't it going to be tight to pull HD video over a wifi connection reliably?
MrDSP 98
Isn't it going to be tight to pull HD video over a wifi connection reliably? Must admit, mine were hard wired over one gig ethernet.
Global Moderators MindTheGap 1,275 Posted August 24, 2012 Global Moderators Share Posted August 24, 2012 If you're going to do it, best seeing if you can hard-wire - Wireless can cause issues and ultimately render the camera useless, Ethernet cable is cheap and you can make your own of custom length with the right tools available on eBay quite cheaply!
