AdamSnow 4
Hi All I posted a topic on here a while back about an academic study being undertaken about the use of fixed penalty notices and penalty notices for disorder. Basically my study looks at what messages are sent by using fixed penalty notices (Including PNDs) and how this impacts on (whether it does or does not) the work of the magistrates court. What I am looking to do as part of this study is to talk to some police officers, PCSO's and specials who have given out a fixed penalty notice and maybe interview them on what it is like to give one out, what messages you think you send to the recipient and how they react to you. Would anyone be interested in taking part? it is really minimal time demanding, 45 minute interview at most. It can be done over the telephone. If anyone is interested then please contact me either through this forum or by email at [email protected] and I can send you some more information on the study and the types of questions I am looking at.
