Shikari + 351
Hi everyone, I'm off to Honduras on a Biology/conservation expedition with Operation Wallacea in a few months. I'm starting to buy my equipment and need a few items, I was wondering if any of you have been to similar locations and can reccomend products... Here's what I need: Trousers (light, full length- maybe zips) Head Torch- saw the £13 on Patrol store- any good for night time activities? Various other bits of equipment to make my expedition a but more confortable e.g. DEET, medical kits etc. Obviously i'd prefer cheaper stuff, but quality is the most important factor, I think. Thanks, Shikari
AndrewZinc 5
Hi Shikari, Here's an idea for trousers, they are £30 but the quality is good, I can also vouch for the website: http://www.trekwear.co.uk/s/craghoppers-mens-kiwi-zip-off-trousers/3465/Product.aspx Or the ones below are their "Nosi-Life" brand which is supposed to ward off insects but I haven't tried them. http://www.trekwear.co.uk/s/craghoppers-mens-nosi-convertibles/3707/Product.aspx Have a browse round that website as well if they don't have your size / colour, or you could get direct from Craghoppers. I'll have a think for other things!
Shikari + 351
Thanks for the links, Would you advise a desert scarf? (We're also spending a week on a beach/island, doing reef conservation (1 week in Cusocu national park, 1 week on Cayos Cochinos)) Thanks again,

I was in Bolivia which is sort of split half way and I was in the high-up Andes bit rather than the tropical jungle bit. Someone else might know though.
