RWiltsF 21
I am selling my iPhone 3GS 16GB to get an iPad (probably going to go for the first gen and save money!) So I need a phone! My criteria: -Cheap (under £100, under £75 if poss) -Can be second hand if necessary -Must be able to use internet as I will still be paying £28 pcm for my phone tariff (so no blackberries, tariff not compatible) -Touch screen is a benefit but not essential (looked at Nokia N96, was a massive N95 fan) -Couple of GB storage for music -Camera obviously -A range of apps would be nice -Not fussed about age (hence considering N96 from 2008) -Unlocked or on Orange What would your suggestions be? French-A + 166
from the topic title i had to do this # New to me are everything the sweetest song that i could sing ooooh Requiem# Serious note Why can't you keep the iPhone and get an iPad as you wont get enough money for a to pay for the whole of the iPad from selling the phone so you are going to have to put towards it as well as paying out nearly £100 your budget for a new phone
Paradox + 666
Plus your iPhone does more than the iPad anyway.
RWiltsF 21
I can't afford an iPad outright. A friend just sold his iPhone (identical to mine) for £300. I can get a brand new iPad 16GB wifi for £298 and for less on eBay 2nd hand So that's almost covered the cost and then just the £50-75 to pay for the phone. If I can get £300 for my phone and then a £50 phone and £250 iPad I won't have to spend a penny. (I am aware that's an awful lot of if's)
Pikachu 3
Make sure you get a phone with 3G, otherwise the internet will be slooooooooooooooow. Why do you want an iPad?

One would assume he has a sore eye and is trying to source an adaquate covering to prevent it getting any worse
SC Ben1546081185 101
Why can't you get a Blackberry? I only pay £25 a month... Plus, your current plan must have iPhone data, so if you just ring up they could change it to BlackBerry data? Just an idea Also, I wouldn't bother with an iPad, expensive useless items, don't do much and that's coming from someone who use to work with them Edited March 18, 2011 by SC Ben

If he's wrong, and it can be done, I'll be getting a blackberry... I love my iPhone, but I rarely get 3G and I always end up connecting to wifi, hence thoughts of a wifi iPad. Plus, bigger screen etc etc.

Ring Customer Services, explain to them you no longer have an iPhone and see what they say about changing the data package. Pretty sure it can be done
