miffy + 74
Okay so Last year I was in a minor traffic collision, not my fault. I claimed against the other person's insurance and I got my car fixed and very happy. Im still getting phone calls offering me compensation of £4000. Question is, has anyone actually gone through and taken the money? Any risks with it? (Like information, your future insurance, credit records) Anyone know how to get them to stop phoning you? ScotLass + 638
If they're automatic, then wait til the end of the message and it normally says "press 9 to unsubscribe/stop receiving calls" or words to that effect. Register with the TPS, they will take your number off any marketing lists that you might be on. Otherwise, I'm fairly sure that if you ask the people phoning you to remove you from their database, they have to comply with that request. Burnsy2023 2,895
Anyone know how to get them to stop phoning you? You can't. The TPS etc may reduce it but you'll get sporadic calls for years to come now.
