    Driving not in proper control

Afternoon PC.com, Hoping someone can help me a little as I seem to be getting different answers from different people. With the offence of 'Driving whilst not in proper control' I have had some officers say that holding something in your hands is enough, IE a drink. Others have said it needs to impact their driving. So eating and crossing into the next lane for example. I'm leaning towards just having something in your hands, as I could drive down with a mobile phone to my ear and drive in a straight line and get a fine and points, but drive with a mug of coffee in my hands and nothing. Anyone able to offer some advice? Trying to google but using my phone and struggling. Thanks.
  2. Morning all, As a motorcyclist I do witness incredible amount of cases, when people are on their phones - talking, texting, updating facebook etc. I have seen people eating behind the wheel or checking emails on iPad while driving 60 mph. Nothing new, I know that but sometimes because they do not pay attention very dangerous situations happen. I do wear helmet camera and have good evidence there. My question is: is there any point of reporting things like that? I'm not saying that I encourage ignoring things, but does police follow up on reports supported by video? If there is minor offence I can imagine priority would be rather low.
  3. Not sure if this has been posted. Very queer behaviour. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3160513/Security-guard-grabs-nine-month-old-baby-BREAST-mother-feeding-Primark-tells-want-baby-follow-me.html
  4. What offences can you deal in the scenario that a van/ car is stopped where it is carrying more people than designed for e.g person in back of van or boot with no seatbelt?? What offences could be considered for driver? What offences could be considered for passenger??
