Hi everyone, I'm shaun, currently going through the process of becoming a police officer in West Yorkshire, i have got my assessment date in a couple of weeks, hoping to get in touch with people Who are going through the process at the moment

Thought I had better introduce myself after all this time. Just retired from "The Met" having spent the last 8 years at DPG (Apex House) after coming up from Sussex. It was a scream i can assure you. Now ... its time to relax and spend some time checking out forums like this !

Hello all, I've recently found out i passed the interview. Not too long to go now. Only worry is the eyesight checks, i'll probably need laser surgery to pass, and wanted to know if anyone had any advice/been through the same experience?

Hi There, As means of introduction, I'm an Australian ex-SAS doctor who now works as Medical Director for a company called TacMed Australia. I'm keen to engage with the Police and Law Enforcement community with a view to potentially imparting some of our lessons learned from years of managing blast and gunshot casualties in high-threat environments, with a view to better preparing Officers for the contingency of responding to a mass-casualty situation on our streets.
