I am a GOF. 32 years in the job, never wanted promotion, just job satisfaction. A GOF by the way is a Geriatric Old F*** (expelling wind from the nether regions - not sexual activity!). I can be abrasive towards people who do wrongs to me and tend to speak my mind. It is a belief the 'modern' methods of policing are antagonistic towards the Public. I feel that much of the current day systems are created by people who have never faced a drug fuelled 'angry man' at 2 am with no back-up and believe that the general population will do as it is told when there's no rhyme nor reason and alcohol is replacing common sense. Politics - I hate the lot of them - doesn't matter…
