I have recently been shortlisted and invited to stage 1 of the Detention Officer assessments in the Portsmouth for the 25th of Jan. I thought it would be a good shout to share my journey on here regardless of the outcome. I have over 13 years in the armed forces and worked with young adults with challenging behaviors and learning difficulties. I have also been employed as a crowd safety steward for large corporate events and festivals in and around the UK. I am hoping that I will be able to lean on some of my experiences from all three areas at interview. I have recently been practicing the Verbal Logical Reasoning tests online and only seem to be getting around the …
