http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2980602/CPS-accused-risking-lives-freeing-Al-Qaeda-ringleader-eventually-convicted-America-plotting-biggest-terror-attack-9-11.html I find it very disturbing that an al Qaeda terrorist who planned to carry out a major suicide- & car-bombing attack in UK (on Manchester's Arndale shopping centre) was only convicted of the offence in USA because the CPS felt the evidence was inadequate. The emblems are being sold in support of the charity COPS (Care of Police Survivors) A constable has been told to remove a union jack badge supporting a police charity from his uniform because it breaches Sussex Police policy. The badge, depicting a thin blue line on the union flag, is sold to raise money for the families of police officers who died in the line of duty. The West Sussex officer was told to removed it by his supervisor. The Police Federation said it was disappointed but Sussex Police said officers had to look professional. The emblems are sold in support of the charity COPS (Care of Police Survivors). The force is meeting members of the federation lat…
