http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2997190/Curtsying-boss-needing-permission-marry-armed-HANDBAGS-policewomen-reveal-fight-equality-force.html A Channel 4 programme on Women police tonight. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/10980787/Cutbacks-could-lead-to-police-struggling-to-deal-with-murders-rapes-and-riots-says-chief-inspector.html - This from the man who started it all, Tom Winsor. Many people could have told him this a few years ago, but Winsor never told Ms May that all the cuts would damage the police ability to deal with things. "We've got to show our officers that we're taking the threat seriously," he told Radio 4's Today. But Christopher Salmon, a Welsh police and crime commissioner, said the move would be a mistake.
