    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c62dv1l0jelo Police leaders are set to recommend scrapping non-crime hate incidents (NCHIs) in a review to be published next month. Completely agree. I'm of the view that something is either a crime or it isn't. If it isn't a crime, then should the police really be getting involved? If that thing is such a problem then make it illegal and then it's more straightforward to deal with. I think having this half way ground where you both want the police to deal with something in some way, but without it actually being legislated against, causes all sorts of problems.
