Latest news Appeal to find missing Wolverhampton man 24/05/2016 Police are appealing for help in tracing a vulnerable Wolverhampton man. Christopher Hall, aged 23, from Rayleigh Road, Wolverhampton was last seen yesterday (Monday 23 May) around 1pm, when he left to go to Wolverhampton Library, but failed to return. Christopher, who suffers from Autism, tends to go and watch buses at local bus stations and we would particularly ask for travellers to keep an eye out for him. Latest news Man to appear in court charged with Perry Barr attempted murder 24/05/2016 A man will appear in court tomorrow charged with attempted murder after a man suffered stab wounds in Perry Barr yesterday (May 23). Mohammed Ahmed, of Witton Road, Aston, has been charged with attempted murder, possession of an offensive weapon and affray. The 43-year-old was remanded in custody and will appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court in the morning to hear the allegations against him. A 32-year-old man remains in a stable condition in hospital following the alleged attack that is believed to have happened at an address in Normandy Avenue. View the full article

Derek Junior Myers, aged 25, from Handsworth was killed in the disorder while a 29-year-old was seriously injured and remains critically ill in hospital. The teenager first contacted police on Saturday 16 April to report that a man had followed her in the Colley Gate and Cradley areas on a number of occasions. Latest news Teenager arrested after schoolboy stabbing 23/05/2016 Detectives have launched an investigation after a schoolboy was hurt in a stabbing in Birmingham this morning (Monday 23 May). The 16-year-old was attacked near to a bus stop on Monyhull Hall Road, Kings Norton at around 8.30am. He made his way to a nearby school where he collapsed and an ambulance was called. Ayman Shaukat, aged 28, from Pargeter Street, was jailed for 10 years and given five years on extended licence, after being found guilty of helping to facilitate a network to enable people to travel to Syria and engage in terrorism.
