Alfonzo Worrell, aged 90, has not been seen since he left his home in Burlington Road at 10am yesterday morning (Wednesday 8 June). He has not been in contact with his family and they are worried for his safety. Mr Worrell, who has a West Indian accent, is described as around 5ft 4ins tall, of slim build, with white hair and brown eyes. He wears glasses, is clean shaven and uses a walking stick. Latest news Appeal after burglars target Wednesbury newsagent 09/06/2016 Police have released CCTV footage of men they want to trace in connection with a distraction burglary at a Wednesbury newsagent. Five men entered Park Lane newsagents on Park Lane at approximately 10.35am on 24 May. Four of them distracted staff by asking questions about different items while the fifth man raided an upstairs flat. Latest news Police appeal following a crash in Dudley 08/06/2016 Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash this morning (8 June). The 24-year-old was in collision with a Volkswagen Golf at around 7.15am on Halesowen Road, at the junction of Northcott Road in Netherton. A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and is currently in custody. Carl Ward, aged 32, has been missing from his home in Smethwick since Thursday 26 May. He has not been in contact with his family and they are worried for his safety. A reckless group of people are believed to have been throwing stones at taxis travelling along Bristol Road, Edgbaston out of the city.
