Latest news Murder enquiry launched in Birmingham 17/12/2016 A murder investigation has been launched after a man found lying in a Birmingham street this morning (Saturday) has died. Officers were alerted to a man being discovered with suspected stab wounds in Moseley Street, Highgate, at around 3.30am. Paramedics were called but the man, believed to be in his 20s, was pronounced dead on his way to hospital. Hafsa Madni from Sparkhill was last seen at around 9am yesterday (Friday 16 December). Hafsa is described as Asian, 4ft 11ins tall, with long, dark brown hair and usually wears glasses. Latest news Appeal after Walsall woman killed 16/12/2016 Police are appealing for information following a fatal collision yesterday (15 December) on Stubbers Green Road in Aldridge. Officers were called to the scene following reports a white Mini Cooper had collided with a silver Peugeot 107 at 7.06am. Latest news HMP Birmingham disorder “contained inside prison walls” 16/12/2016 West Midlands Police has moved to reassure residents that disorder which broke out in HMP Birmingham this morning is contained within the prison walls. It’s understood a set of keys giving access to residential areas was taken from an officer and that offenders have since occupied some blocks and exercise facilities.
