Latest news Man arrested after three members of same family found stabbed 30/03/2017 A man has been arrested after three members of the same family were stabbed at their Dudley home this morning (30 March). Police and ambulance were called to the property in Greyhound Lane in Norton, Stourbridge, just after 8am where a man, woman and a boy were found with serious stab wounds. It’s understood the victims are a couple and their son. A Land Rover stolen from outside the home was intercepted by police around 30 minutes later in Norton Road and a man in his 20s arrested on suspicion of wounding. Latest news Man in court charged with father's murder 30/03/2017 A man has been charged with the murder of his father after officers were called to an address in Wenslydale Road on Tuesday (28 March) by paramedics, who were treating a man for serious injuries. Unemployed Garey Mitchell, aged 42, of Wenslydale Road, Great Barr, is due to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court this morning (30 March). A post mortem has confirmed the 86-year-old victim - who has today been named as Sebert Mitchell by police - died as a result of head injuries and stab wounds to the neck. Latest news Arrests made by Counter Terrorism officers 29/03/2017 Two people have been arrested by West Midlands Counter Terrorism detectives this afternoon (Wednesday 29 March) on suspicion of terrorism offences. A man and a woman - aged 21 and 23 respectively - were arrested in Birmingham and are being held in the West Midlands. The two were arrested on suspicion of preparing for terrorist acts and were detained under terrorism legislation. The 45-year-old pedestrian was struck by a green Mondeo estate at around 11.40pm on Belgrave Middleway as it travelled along the outbound carriageway of the road. Latest news Man arrested following Perry Barr stabbing 28/03/2017 A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was stabbed at a Perry Barr home earlier today (28 March). Officers were called to a house on Wenslydale Road at around 1.10pm by the ambulance service where they were treating a man for serious injuries. The man was struck by a dark coloured Ford Mondeo as it travelled along the west bound carriageway of the road. The car was being pursued from Short Heath Road in Erdington after the driver failed to stop for police.
