At around 3:20 one officer shoots a man ontop of another officer, then a colleague kicks the grounded officer in the face !

One person died, news article in this link;

Only in America, as they say...  I do love how Police Chiefs in America tend to come out in resounding support of their Officers in situations like this, though.  As seen in the video.  Can you imagine any Chief Officer in the UK speaking out in a similar way?..

I'm absolutely amazed they weren't all shot, serious restraint shown here by the officers involved.

All one family... That would be one heck of a DV form... Just saying...

Considering the officers were literally fighting for their lives it's a wonder they didn't have to shoot more of the Gaver family than they did. It goes to show that Taser isn't the 'magic cure' it's seen to be and that OST tactics and the handbook are all very well but in some situations anything goes!

It also shows the cons of being armed.

Another difference from the UK (from the news report):

'After Hicks determined the baton had no effect, he resorted to shooting Gaver to death...Hicks initially was placed on leave after the March 21 shooting, but he went back on patrol Friday night.'

So finish your reports on March 21st (the day of the incident), take 2 weeks last minute all-inclusive to Mexico, a requalification shoot on Thursday 9th April and back on duty for the Friday night!

This is mental.

Wish I could sign up to the LAPD... Almost impossible to get a Green Card being a UK citizen though.
