How long do you negotiate with a person like this?

I think the officer had very good patience. A good result in the end I'm sure, although I couldn't take her screaming for that long.

Its all dealt with in a very "English" way and the officers speak english very well. Highly commendable.

Very well dealt with indeed. It looks like the same program that filmed the Met officers on a stag do who couldn't handle their drink.

I'm always impressed and embarrassed at how well people from other countries can speak English. 

 

The incident did seem to be handled very professionally and compassionately by the officers. It reminded me of how we deal with things over here (although if I went to a call where the person was speaking Lithuanian I doubt I could dip quite so eloquently into the language!).
