I need to change the address on my mainland UK driving licence issued by the DVLA to an address in N. Ireland, do I get in touch with the DVLA or the DVA?

I contacted DVLA and they said it has to be DVA......and vice versa. RPU Sgt. can't seem to work it out for me either.

A friend of mine has recently moved to NI and was in the same boat, just asked him and he had to exchange his GB licence for a NI one as he was now resident in NI. The DVLA won't put an address outside of Great Britain on a GB driving licence apparently (just as the DVA won't allow a non-NI one on theirs).

Thanks for the help, it's a strange one, especially since there's a lot of the DVA stuff now going over to Swansea!
