ScotLass + 638
My colleagues were chasing sheep the other week but sadly no video evidence
Milankovitch + 3,445
Glad there hasn't been video evidence of me moving livestock off a road before. I recall one time where, to the untrained observer, it must have looked very much like I was being chased across the road by an angry cow but I can assure you that was not the case...

surfer2169 294
This is a common occurrence in my county mounty HO force- you're not a proper response officer unless you've got a headcollar in your kitbag.....
Richhamdo + 877
Rocket,That film brought back fond memories for me,a herd of dairy cows had escaped late one Friday night/Saturday morning. Myself and my reg partner got the job of getting them off the road and back into a field, any field. I opened the gate to a field where I thought they should be and asked the regular to encourage them toward me gently and I would block the road make sure that they turned left and went in.However,as in a lot of cases nothing is as simple as it seems, instead of walking behind them saying or shouting "move along" and giving those that were eating the grass from the verge a tap on their backsides now and again, what she did was drive behind them in the van with the blue light on with the inevitable result that they came toward me in a bit of a panic, but they managed to turn the corner into the field somehow, one of them standing on my boot as I ushered them through the gate.i don't think I made any comment after about it,there didn't seem much point. I told the story before, that was the night I lost my reading glasses from the inside pocket of my fleece. I went back next morning to see if I could find them and found them almost as soon as I had arrived on scene, they were on the side of the road not far from the gateway. A car had run over them but only slightly bent the bit that goes on the ear,so can't get much luckier than that.Never thought I would ever see them again actually as I had been running all over the place on that job.Rich.
