Hi folks,

Currently in a stand off with Capita, I retired in September 2015 and was told that my pension would be automatically index linked as I went with 27 years service on medical grounds. Since then I have assumed this would automatically take place until checking last week. It clearly hasn't. On emailing them Capita have said that the information I have is wrong and I will not get any increase until my 55th Birthday. This is their final decision. 

Having been through considerable unnecessary stress when retiring through basic incompetence by both my force and Capita I was wondering if anyone has some concrete information or regulation I can refer to that supports this or otherwise.
