i am planing on taking a deferred pension in aug next year. i will have over 25 years service and will be under 50, i have worked part time so the calculation for the deferred pension,by my calculation would be benificial by £800 per year as opposed to retiring on immediate pension in sept

i have read the pension regs and i know what a defferred pension is ,however i get conflicting information from my pension dept

has anyone had a deferred pension as above ie left prior to 50 th birthday with over 25 years , if so was the pension paid on 50th birthday

Any chance a moderator could go in and change the spelling of the word "defferred" in the topic title to it's proper spelling of "deferred" It looks terrible.

Perhaps we should also capitalise the T in tonyheehee !!

Which "T", though (in the correct spelling of it)?

Hi, I'm wondering the same thing, I will be 47yrs when I reach 25 years service and would like to take early retirement. Did you have your pension paid on your 50th Birthday?
