Mood Music

So what music do you listen appropriate to your mood?

Post here with what mood and that the music is, preferably with a video/recording of the piece.

I'll give you some examples.

Getting ready to go out for a night out on the town I may just play something like this whilst getting ready:

Or this

Depending on if I'm out  for beers and laughs or out for beers and dancing.

If I'm wanting relaxing and maybe to drift off to sleep I might play something like this:

So what do you listen to, why and when?

If I'm working on something at home I always find this song helps me get it done quicker as well as makes me start dancing all over the living room:

Sloth

I find this fairly catchy and it usually makes me work faster.

The video could possibly be not safe for work

Kiesza - Hideaway is a great song but I prefer Greg James' video version. It's cringey yet brilliant.

I do like covers. Someone recently introduced me to 1940s /swing covers. Not everyone's cup of tea but worth a punt

I went to see this beautiful man at the Usher Hall in Edinburgh backed by a 34 piece orchestra...

Some covers are ok although I see this as a reverse cover, taking a modern song and making it old.  This has in fact given me an idea for a new thread I shall create some time (unless someone beats me to it) on covers.  A perfect example for me would be 'I will always love you', the original version as written and performed by Dolly Parton means so much more and is much more intimate and full of feeling than the screaming banshee version by Whitney Houston.  There are many examples like this

Sorry, but you are going to have to help me out here and tell me who this is and what have they done I may recognise?

Just to add, he has a most excellent beard and mine is almost as long as that now.  He looks almost as awesome as I do.

That's almost a cue for one of his best songs - Greatest Mother Fokker.

It's John Grant.

That one can be allowed because it's a title of his song and he appears to be a mainstream artiste, plus the song does sum me up pretty well.

As an aside to anyone searching for it the word used is a make of German plane but the word used in the song title is the English spelling of what it implies.

:clapping:

So I've had a very busy and hectic three days, it's been full on and extremely tiring.

Not going to post the videos because they are definitely NSFW but I've been chillin and calming down by listening to Die Antwoord and The Pordigy.

Thats, how busy and mad my three days have been.

Any recommendations or tell us what you listen to according to your mood.
