The opening scene looked like something from the Bill. Not sure if it was the camera that made it seem that way but if you see the struggle they had, it really did seem fake. Might be just me though lol.

I'm from Wales and I find it rather embarrassing..

Can you clarify then if it was real or one of those 'fake' documentaries?

It's definitely real. That's why I feel a sense of it being quite unprofessional.

Highlights for me were the female officer mocking the scally for getting "taken down by a girl" and the local hardman threatening the passing vehicle because "he did 60mph through ere last week so he did, like".

I wonder if all the silly nicknames were made up by the production company.

I did watch this. I found it to be different from the ‘usual’ police documentaries on the TV at the moment. It was made for BBC 3 though...

I didn’t doubt whether it was real or not but it did have a strange feel to it. Not sure if that was because of the editing/filming or the fact they had quite a bit of air time for the locals.

Watching this now, the opening bit where the 2 officers were struggling with Nathan, i couldn't help notice the male officer was putting as much effort in trying to keep his glasses from falling off as he was trying to detain Nathan, maybe its me being harsh?

Harsh to criticise an aggressive resistance situation where you weren’t there or in that situation. Easy to sit in armchair and question the effort.

TBH I've had to grab my glasses while tussling. Didn't let go of the dude, but when they slip off you have an automatic reaction to it.

How are you gonna detain someone if you can’t see what you’re doing...? Not all of us can wear contacts on duty.

I personally enjoyed it. You know it’s going to be good when the subtitles start appearing.

I have to agree, I too have enjoyed it. It's very different from the typical police shows that are usually on. It certainly gives a different insight into policing as it tends to cover more aspects of what happens with a detainee which I don't believe is a bad thing.

I wonder if the force in question will renew the contract for a second season as I understand that it was only a 3 parter.
