Laura Ruth Williams Police Constable  Metropolitan Police Died 19 February 2009, aged 41 Collapsed and fell unconscious while on duty at Greenwich Park Police Station, she was taken to hospital but died in the early hours of the following day, having suffered a brain haemorrhage. Laura joined the Royal Parks Constabulary in September 1998; in 2001 she was diagnosed with Leukaemia but returned to work after treatment. After amalgamation into the Metropolitan Police she worked on a response team and recently as a Safer Parks Officer and had several commendations for her good work. She is survived by her partner and two sons, her mother, four brothers and one sister.
