    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c4gd8l1945eo Police want the freedom to release more details of some investigations in an effort to prevent misinformation that could result in threats to public safety or national security. I think it's a good idea, although obviously it won't always be appropriate. And when it is done they will have to be careful to ensure a suspect still gets a fair trial.
