According to this BBC article https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-england-london-58762299 the MPS encourages knife crime by showing pictures of seizes knives on social media. The MPS approach was then compared to knife crime charities which don't share images! Are we right to show the weapons we have seized and how can we be blamed for encouraging knife crime when images of knives can be found all over non police social media.
