Last one I saw was about the assault but I don't think that was tonights episode.

I watched a few that I had missed. I got about a third into the Paedo one and I had to turn the TV off I felt uneasy watching it

Anyone watch tonights episode?

I saw tonights episode but not the last 20 minutes as I managed to fall asleep on the sofa.

Did they charge him in the end?

I like that DS, he took a stand, rightly, with the CPS. I'm glad he managed to make them see sense, if he had been bailed it would have surely had a detrimental affect on the case.

I was surprised when they placed the fella in the cell and they had to rely on an officer using his phone's compass app to work out which direction Mecca was, especially somewhere as culturally diverse as Luton... All our cells have an arrow on the ceiling showing the direction to pray in.

Agreed, he played a blinder there... Could've ended completely differently without that conversation taking place. Good work all round by the officers involved (except for whoever decided not to seize the iron!), and good to see the CPS reconsider their decision.

You know that something I've never even considered...

The cells at our local custody have no arrow on the floor pointing towards Mecca, when you think about it it's kind of a problem.

Don't a fair few prayer mats have compasses built in? A lot of custody's have prayer mats.

Why is it a problem?
