Help I'm hooked

Series 1 and 2 are on Netflix too which I'd recommend watching before watching Series 3, for anyone who is interested.

Hooked every time I watch it. I would say watching series one and two and then three first is a must.

I see they rolled out the old 'Masonic' connection.  Obviously no one in the writing process has any connection whatsoever with the Freemasons.

Apparently Supt Hastings is a catholic, but also a mason.  Not impossible but highly unlkely.

But is ACC Hilton actually now working with AC12 against Roz What's-Her-Face?

Hell hath no fury like a chief officer scorned...

Although very well played, I don't think Hastings is actually sexist. I know he made the comment about not being able to have a drink with Kate, however I think that was more worrying about what people would say as opposed to any slight on her abilities etc.

That's what I took it to mean as well. And there's no denying that Steve has been a DS for 3 series, whereas Kate has only been a DS for about 4 episodes... so I can't fault his reasoning on supporting Steve over Kate. It was clearly engineered to allow Roz Huntley to go down the discrimination route though.
