suezien * 0
Hi, I'm writing a book, my second actually and I want to include a young TDC who is in a relationship with a married CID officer. If anyone has time to help me I'd be really grateful. What I'd like to know is this: Is a relationship like this feasible? If so, how might it start: party, pub (would they mix)? Might he be responsible for supervising her development? How old would she be? Hope you can help.

Dan!Dan!Dan! 258
Thought so. OP totally feasible, and very realistic, probably early 20s.
Ayefno 0
No such official thing as a 'TDC' . It's TI or PC.

Just because you have never heard of it?I've never heard of TI - Temporary Investigator? Doesn't mean it doesn't exist in some strange force somewhere. suezien * 0
OK thanks everyone. I'm not actually using that term, just found it while researching for the book and assumed it was generic. Interesting to get you arguing though. I was wondering whether to make it a gay male rather than the usual young heterosexual woman. Might that add more drama? How would he be accepted? Any gay officers out there who might like to comment?
