Javioli 57
I assume programs that aren't written with Windows 8 in mind simply put their icon onto the desktop. But once they've done that, how can I add a Tile to the Metro screen?
Joe980 + 4
Is the tile not already added? everytime I have installed something on Windows 8 it adds a tile with the 'desktop icon' in the middle of it, rather ugly but it does it nonetheless, scroll all the way across in the metro screen and have a look. Administrative Account 7
You can also right click it in explorer and you'll find an option to add it to the front screen.
Owl 0
start screen > type the name of the program > right click > pin to start Note: it will be at the very right hand side of your start screen, you might have to scroll across.
