In line with our ambition to continually improve and develop the services we here at Police Community offer to our members we realised that we need to improve the 'Priority Support' we offer to our VIP members and with this in mind we have been working hard to develop and integrate a solution that will do just that. For those of you that know the team and have been members for a fair bit of time, you will notice how committed the team are and that they are always online, well almost always! With this in mind we are able to offer Live dedicated support to our VIP members so that they can speak with a member of the team instantly if there are any issues that you need to raise or discuss. When no member of the team is available the 'VIP Live Support' will not display however if one of the team is online it will be available to access down the right hand side of the screen. I have currently disabled Live Chat on mobile devices. We hope that you will find it a useful addition included for FREE within your existing VIP packages and I guess it leaves me to say we will look forward to chatting with you live time in the future. Do you use the chat room? Would you like to win a £30 voucher from our forum sponsors Police-Supplies.co.uk? If the answer is yes then as a VIP or Lifetime VIP you are already part way there. If you aren't a VIP member then you can find out how to sign up by Clicking Here after which you will have instant access to the chat room and will be in with a chance of winning. To be in with a chance of winning the voucher all you need to do is use the chat room some time between Thursday 1st October and Saturday 31st October. It really is as simple as just using the chat room. After closing the competition a date will be chosen at random and then a time in 24hr format will also be chosen at random. The person using the chat room at that time will be the person who wins the voucher. Easy Peasy. You can increase your chances by using the chat room more often. For every entry you make in there it is another entry into the competition. The more you use chat the more chances you have. Rules. Obviously there has to be some rules. Any VIP's who just makes nonsense posts or useless entries just to increase their chances will be disqualified from the competition completely so no spending 10 mins spelling out the alphabet or a poem line by line or a long chain of full stops. If there was nobody using the chat room at the randomly chosen winning date & time then the prize will go to the person who made the last entry before that date & time. VIP Features - Member Moods, Emoticons & Enhanced Editor

Our VIP members are very important to the continued success of Police Community. Without that contribution to our online home we would not be able to keep this place going in the same way. As a result we are keen to demonstrate how we are striving to make your use of the forum much improved on a standard user account so that you feel you are rewarded for your contribution to Police Community. We have introduced a number of unique VIP only features and there are more to come .... Member Moods As the world of social media and online communities grow we have seen a few things be core to any successful platform. One of theses is for the member to be able to express how they are currently feeling. Here at Police Community we are calling this Moods. VIP Members will be able to update their mood any time and expand the default text to be specific to them. Simply click on the Moods icon in the top right corner of the forum header and set your mood. Your mood will then show on all your posts in the profile card next to each post. Moods are visible to all members but only VIP members can have or change a mood. Once your mood is selected it will appear on your profile card as follows; Enhanced Editor Whilst using the site the editor changes slightly dependant upon what device you are using at the time. On a desktop machine you will get a very different browser editor whilst using our forum to that you will see on a tablet and further still on a mobile device. We have taken this one step further. Standard members will see a standard toolbar in the editor across the site where VIP members will have many more options available in their editor just to make things easier for you. A standard member's editor looks as follows; A VIP Members editor will look as follows; Emoticons Ok - so we all enjoy using emoticons, it's become part of the way we communicate online. Our standard members will still have access to the 'Classic' emoticons we had before but we have introduced many more categories and modern emoticons available to VIP account holders. Simply click the emoticon icon in any editor and click on the category drop down menu that appears. More will be added in the fullness of time to enhance our VIP members online experience. A standard member will see; A VIP Member will see; Upgrading your account is easy and in reality costs hardly anything. Just £5 will give you a one years VIP Membership, that is less than 2p per day but all these contributions help to keep Police Community moving forward and developing further.
