https://www.itv.com/news/granada/2025-01-24/retrieving-rudakubanas-internet-history-could-take-years It could take investigators years to uncover what was in the internet browsing history Axel Rudakubana deleted before he left the house to carry out his attack, the officer in charge of the case has said. Why are Merseyside Police claiming it will take years when they could interrogate his devices directly? Clearing your internet history doesn't actually remove that data from the device, if he's cleared it just before his attack and the device obviously hasn't been used since then, there's a good chance that digital forensics could recover quite a lot.

https://news.yahoo.com/news/police-fear-gamble-career-force-113000196.html Police officers fear they are gambling with their future when they use force to tackle criminals, the head of the Police Superintendents’ Association has warned. Completely agree, I don't want a system where we've made officers so afraid of being hounded for their actions that they scared to use force even when justified. This is an interesting article from the Manchester Evening News and highlights case where Officers have been injured whilst on duty and how they were treated, disgracefully, by the GMP. The one in a million fluke which wrecked a career - Manchester Evening News
