Dave SYP + 2,963
Did he just say, for the umpteenth time that they should stop terrorising him and LEAVE HIM ALONE? Oh dear, whatever will become of that poor 'procreation'!
ScotLass + 638
I got 7 minutes in before I turned it off. One of these days I will make it all the way through one of these videos...
Shmook + 532
As soon as he said 'are you under your oath' I stopped watching... 12 seconds of my life I will never get back!
stewie_griffin + 484
As soon as he said 'are you under your oath' I stopped watching... I'm the same, as soon as I hear about 'Under oath', 'Maritime Law', 'Freedom to Travel', 'The law not a statute', 'I do not consent','Am I being detained?' My heart sinks.
Burnie 2,084
As soon as he said 'are you under your oath' I stopped watching... 12 seconds of my life I will never get back! Snap. "I believe you're subject to bail conditions not to enter the station" Followed by "Are you under your oath?" And it's kinda inevitable what he's going to try to do and why....
Adamski + 1,057
WHY do people let these situations prattle on for 10 minutes? "I suspect you're under bail conditions, please give me your name so I can check" "Are you under your oath?" "Are you going to provide me with your credentials or not?" "I'm not doing anything until you recite your oath" or "Maritime law bla bla bla" "Ok, I'm arresting you on suspicion of..." Seconds!
Radman + 2,165
This video is somewhat confusing... The bobby has an 'idea' that this chap may be breaching bail conditions, yet isn't sure - bloke refuses details but commits numerous other offences during the video. For me he would have been coming in for a Byelaw 6 MINIMUM and then once we find out who he is he'd potentially be getting charged with breaching those bail conditions.
Burnie 2,084
Okay. I got bored so I decided to watch it all to see if it was as good as others. I wasn't disappointed. Particular highlights for me that made me giggle: "I'm putting you on notice of terrorism" "What you are doing here is terrorising me. What you are doing is terrorism" "I fear for my safety and that of this gentleman here" *gentleman rapidly shuffles away* "You are harassing me and my procreation" "You are an armed police officer" (he's really not...) "and you Police are responsible for 1 in 4 murders in the UK" But yes, like others have said I'd have nicked him around minute 2 or 3. If I was feeling feisty I might have pointed out that he HAD entered a contract with Network Rail upon purchasing a ticket. And if he hadn't purchased a ticket then he was at the least committing Trespass in breach of DfT Bylaws. Edited April 14, 2015 by Burnie
Webley + 236
"and you Police are responsible for 1 in 4 murders in the UK" Giggling Quietly to myself was getting me odd looks and that be before I heard that cracker! I just exploded with laugher... I wonder why people are moving away...
Dave SYP + 2,963
I wonder if he would have been so cocky if...... 1. There were no recording devices present. 2. There was no audience to play to. 3. If he really knew all the byelaws relating to railway property. What an attitude! I'm sure he will go as far as Crown Court with it one day. Well done to the PC and PCSO's for their patience and professionalism.
Odie 13
Forgive me for asking this question. I'm currently going through my training. Now in a situation like this, is there anything wrong with just walking away? Say no offence was committed but the office had Reasonable Grounds to ask a couple of questions and the guy in the video was spouting all of this stuff with lots watching? Reason I ask is because I was speaking to another guy in training and with lots of people watching and the video could it be seen as the Police loosing face by just walking away? Could it be seen as a win for the guy in the video and loss for the Police in the eyes of the public? Hope my point of the question has got across though. When you're out in uniform you have to constantly ask yourself what the public expect from you. What would you expect a Police officer to do in a given scenario? Now I haven't watched this video because they anger me but if someone is suspected of an offence and is approached by an officer then begins spouting off all their freeman rubbish and said officer walks away, what message does that send out to the public and the suspect themselves? There are times when you do have to walk away and it will upset you because that's all you can do but from reading the above comments this video isn't one of those times.

There were offences here that could have been dealt with, numerous railway byelaws for a start including Byelaw 6 and 13 after he had to be escorted out. As I said earlier I'd have locked him up byelaw 6 for refusal to provide name and address and then have clarified any bail conditions in custody once we knew who he was. I wouldn't have stood there for as long as the cop in the video did. Even if I wasn't going to arrest him he'd have left railway property rather sharpish with my help if he wasn't willing to leave via his own two feet. You have to be robust with certain people, give them an inch and they'll take a yard - older bobbies tend to be less terrified of going hands on, having worked at an old sweat office for near seven years their habits rub off on you... Not criticising the cop in the video but I would have handled it differently. Edited April 17, 2015 by Radman
