Fedster + 1,307
Any good? Seen anything better? Just want broadband, dont need telly channels or anything, however might consider it if it is good offer. So the deal i was considering; 17mb Unlimited Downloads Free £100 M&S E-voucher 12 month contract with Sky Free for 12 months - line rental £17.
Adamski + 1,057
I had an horrific experience with Sky when we first signed up, although we were in a new build house. The quality of the service is acceptable now that we're in, but they lied to us to win business and then their customer service during the installation period was awful; we were fibbed to and misled left right and centre. TheFlomeister + 349
I was with the Post Office for a bit while I waited to find out what I was doing with moving and stuff. It was a rolling monthly contract for £16 a month, which was a really good deal for me as I usually have to pay through the nose just because I can't get fibre!! I've heard bad things about Sky in terms of customer service and getting faults resolved/extra bits added to the bill so I've always given them a wide berth. Same goes for TalkTalk, especially after the cyber attack.
IanW + 1,916
As this is standard broadband, expect the speeds etc to be the same as other providers. As long as you understand that for nothing you can't really complain! Also if you sign up for it via Quidco you can get about £50 cash back normally too! A lot of the issue with getting faults sorted in my experience were more to do with getting access to a BT open reach engineer, as BT still own the copper cables from the exchange to your phone socket. Hopefully my router should arrive by Wednesday! Mine got activated today, I knew my BT line was going to be bad for ADSL but not quite this bad! Thankfully as this was free it was only going to be for a backup! The speed has actually dropped even lower now! (1440) when I looked last.
