A police sergeant from Devon and Cornwall describes what it's like at a fatal road accident in a short video blog. Discretion advised as he is realistic and detailed in what he explains.

Wow...

The writing etc he does on roads stuff  is amazing. His twitter account links most of his blogs/videos etc and is easily one of the best police twitter accounts out there.

Really hard hitting stuff from Harry here. In my day job as a teacher I have used some of the videos from this Learn2Live series and while they are hard hitting and full on I do believe they are really good to press home the real importance of road safety.

Harry continuously posts really good content through social media, only this week he has posted a article on the devastation around a fatal RTC that the local news down here have picked up on and the public have been engaging with. Im proud to say I serve in the same service as this man.

Hearing/Seeing about deceased people very rarely bothers me.

I say rarely, because the few times it does is when i hear stories like this, told with such... how do you describe it, fear? experience? Sorrow?

Really hard-hitting stuff. Excellently conveyed. If only people knew how easily these things can happen; it can happen to anyone. More importantly, if only people knew how easily they could be avoided.

For anyone interested, it seems as though this is the follow-up video:

I thought I would add this officers blog that he updates regularly. The link above is a post covering a fatal RTC that he has attended in the past and is just as hard hitting as the above videos and well worth a read.
