This is how the Wayne Couzens get away with it as the rest turn a blind eye. She should have spoken up and ended this.

That's a very big leap from poor legal knowledge to rape and murder.

I do think there's a problem with some officers using "terrorism" as an excuse to justify searches where it otherwise wouldn't be justified. I don't think the officers doing it are bad people though. Life isn't a comic book with cartoon villains, the officers involved here probably are decent people who genuinely believe their actions are protecting the public from the next 7/7 or Manchester bombing.

The right to film police is a good thing in my view. Most of the time it won't be necessary as most officers won't do anything dodgy. But the simple fact we can film you is a good deterrent to the small number of officers who abuse their position.

Don't agree with the Wayne Couzens comment. What that man did was pure evil, but the Met clearly moved moved heaven and earth to get justice in that investigation. They didn't try to cover it up, they got justice for the victim in the end.

I feel the same about the public and CCTV.

There is no right to film anything, it’s just not unlawful, those are very different things.
