No such thing as British Forces Germany as from yesterday, so no dependants as such!

End of an era!

Not totally true, there are still dependents around the world being policed by the military police and still some remain in Germany. BFG May be gone tho

Rolling with this theme, if there were multiple agencies, would that mean an individual could be prosecuted by differing laws, acts, by-laws etc by different agencies for the same event!  A bit of a variation on the double jeopardy as it wouldn’t be the same offence!

oh how they could have a power mi Geri g time setting out the priorities in enforcement.   At least in the US( as I understand it), there is primacy of some form!

Well I would suggest the primary prosecuting agency remains the HO force for that area.

BTP have also prosecuted people for trespass/obstruction when persuits have ended up on lineside locations, local force dealing with the original offences.

Not that many, not enough to warrant a normal size Police company, in Germany, the Sennelager Range is being maintained but by a small admin staff, most of the bods will be temporary and only turn up on exercise. With the exception of Cyprus, the days of pad wifes and pad brats is over! Actually, the government have messed up big time with bringing the Army back as those who need MSQ's are finding that the accommodation being offered isn't what they are used to because it is so small

It’s a huge shame and without decent overseas posts retention will again be a bigger issue. The RMP construct and method of manning is ok for a war footing but way over manned at the top for day to day policing anyway. It’s an archaic way of working, still produce 100 times more appear than needed and have it checked countless times.

The day is coming when that level of   Bureaucracy will have to change.
