Anyone have any advice for a cheap but decent torch that can fit in stab pockets? Or comes with a belt pouch if a bit bigger!

Thanks.

Try something similar to this one:http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B007B86KLC?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00

I use as my backup torch in stab vest pocket, it is good and bright with an AA battery (twice as bright if you get a special 3.6v battery) and for 2 quid, hardly mega bucks.

I personally bought an LED Lenser thingy the other day for walking the dog over the winter, and I have been very impressed with it, it was about £25 from Amazon i think, and uses 4 x AAA batteries, but the light from it is great!!

I still use the cheap chinese made Ultrafire torches. They're a hell of a lot cheaper than LED Lensers, and a lot brighter too!

I'd recommend this little torch: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00F0AYVVY?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00

and this battery charger: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00CO6KKZS?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00

The torch fits nicely into one of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005IMGLUI?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

Happy torch hunting folks

Oh, and I'd strongly recommend getting your hands on the best 18650, 3100mAh rechargeable batteries. Do make sure that they are from a reputable source, I'd recommend the XTAR make.

A good Ultrafire and a decent battery charger for the 18650 battery. As for aholder, I have an adjustable NiteIce (I think that's the brand) holder.

P7 or any tactical series torch from LED Lenser

Excellent Gucci kit but remember keep it under lock and key or it will get borrowed.

Note cost is steep but mine has lasted me 4 years so far!

Come to A&S and you now get a Lenser issued. Not known any officer yet change it to anything else.

Bought an LED Lenser, and it's brilliant, sturdy construction, tested by accidentally having a caged van roll over it.

I have a P7 in my tac vest and a P14 in my bag - everyone I've used them with has commented how bright they are! Need to change the batteries soon... Been a couple of years!
