PJ1 3
Just came accross this video on Youtube - a demonstration of Herts Police equipment. Interesting to watch, although extremely cringy! Not sure when it will have been produced, I'm guessing early 2000s?
Alex_101 6
Very cringey indeed! I'd say 90s though not 2000s.
surfer2169 294
I had no idea fast straps had been around that long...
Dirty harry + 75
I remember this video from the 'other forum' , that guy is so annoying! Is it common to use batons for restraining? I've never seen it done before.
sparkydale 1,194
The car is R reg (I think) which would be 97-98. I'd assume they'd use a newer vehicle for the telly, so dating it around then I guess.
Toms + 191
I remember this video from the 'other forum' , that guy is so annoying! Is it common to use batons for restraining? I've never seen it done before. Used it a couple of times with it across the back of the ankles to prevent someone kicking out. Particularly effective against extremely strong people who can lift you up and throw you around
Klaus 585
Useful for getting people's arms out from under them too.
MerseyLLB 8,426
I would have thought early 2000s. Police forces kept cars much longer back then!
