I have dyslexia and a Specific Language Impairment. I will try and improve on this but if you could answer the question that would be great please. I am worried because the exam is on December I understand the physical exam is a bleep test and strength test. I go to the gym and lift weights 4-5 days a week. I also do running outside. I run 3 miles 3 days a week
Whisper 509
You can download a bleep test sound bite which you can train to, you need to get to level 5.4 at least. Good luck.

If you are working hard in your physical exercise you will have no problem with that side of things - I would advise practicing the bleep test, or at least mimicking it with short sprints and sharp turns rather than continuous steady state running. There should be examples of the academic tests online. Sorry I don't have any details but demonstrating good written skills and numeracy is essential. Logan88 0
The bleep test is level 5.4 and is usually 15 metres. With regards to the written exams get a book called police oracle. It has practice questions in. The exams are not difficult but just time constricted. For your final interview research the force you are applying for to see what it topical. Good luck. It was a special 3 day event recruitment so I am not 100 % sure which location I would be located. I wish to be recruited where I live which will be West Dunbartonshire if not its also fine. I was watching a video I thought the distance was 20 metres but if its 15 than thats even better lol.
Logan88 0
Mate it may be different but I know northumbria, durham and civil nuclear are 15 metres. Double check on their website. If it doesn't say just practice 20 metres then if it turns out to be less...bonus! Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

Logan88 0
You will do fine. I've passed the test many times without training. A lot of people fail because they panic and don't breath properly. But it's good that your building your fitness up. You may need that if you decide to go onto ops at a later date. Logan88 0
Bit different to what I did then. Mine was only a 1 day assessment centre. 1 written exam, 1 verbal reasoning exam, 1 numerical, 4 role plays and an interview. I then had a final interview at a later date.
