Since upgrading to iOS6 (iPad2) if I click the blue dot to open at the latest post, it ends up scrolling down to the post reply box.

This doesn't seem to happen on other forum sites.

Is this a known problem? Is anyone else getting this?

It's a bit annoying especially for the very popular topics.

This sounds like an issue related to the ipad and is not one I have heard of before.. Is that what you are using, Scoop?

Once I have your answer, Scoop, I will have a word with our techies.

Thanks for the confirmation. I will now contact our techies.

Just had a thought, does the "i" in iPad stand for incontinence? :tongue_cheek:;)

This may just save someone some money for computer repairs (Sorry Pen) I use a windows system and have never used any other, however I received a 'pop-up' on my screen announcing that I had new 'Apple' updates available for my computer, just click to download. I clicked to delete!

I went into an Apple Computer centre in Newcastle on Monday and asked them about it (Like walking into a lions den) and asked them about it. Apple do not send out such things as this and it was possibly a virus or someone trying to gain access to my computers memory.

Don't worry, BR, it that won't cost me any business. What you had was not likely to be a virus or a hacker; just Apple trying to pretend that viruses only happen on Windows machines. That is totally untrue and sounds like an attempt to defraud you of your money by an Apple vendor.

What you actually had, most likely, was an attack by someone trying to sell you something. This would have been instigated by spyware or just cold calling, using one of a number of lists of ip addresses that circulate amongst unscrupulous sellers.

I'm getting it too!

Just thought it was me. :(

Good to know it's not just me! It's been annoying me for a couple of weeks now!

I have now had the following reply:-

Thanks, I will look into this. Seems like a very odd issue to be ipad specific. I will let you know as and when I find anything out.

I agree that it is odd to be just iPad specific.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Does anyone have a full blown Apple computer? Does this problem happen on that?

Any other computer types (other than Windows, that is), do you have this problem on that?

Linux Mint Mate and KDE, Ubuntu. running Firefox, Konqueror, and Chrome.

No problems.

Also on Windows, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, Avant, IE, Safari.

Have the mac types tried more than one browser. Apples Safari offering is not the dogs danglers.

Safari is the only browser available with the iPad.

Ok, I have passed voiceofreason's comments to our techies. Does anyone have an Apple desktop that they can try it with, please?

I have now tried Safari in Windows and it worked correctly, so it is not Safari per se.
